For an audience of young South African artists between the ages of 18 and
35 years, the Republican Creatives were commissioned to convert components of
the Debut Programme curriculum into 10 animated videos and 10 infographic posters which were to be shared with the programme participants via Whatsapp and email.
BASA DEBUT PROGRAMME
Business and Arts South Africa NPC (BASA) in partnership with the department
of Sport, Arts and Culture recently launched the second edition of the Debut Programme. The programme is designed to provide business and entrepreneurial skills development to emerging artists in all nine provinces of South Africa. The underpinning values of the programme are inclusivity and accessibility, with the aim of reaching young artists in rural and peri-urban areas who have previously had limited opportunities.

The Republicans had to convert these components in a manner that’s relatable to young artists living and working in all 9 provinces of South Africa without compromising BASA’s brand guide and existing assets. We are proud to say that our team upheld the standard by creating programme content that is educational, inclusive, diverse and most importantly, South African!
